This article applies to: Firm Users with the Engagement Manager or Administrator role
Engagements marked as Complete can be reopened by a Firm User with Manager or Administrator roles. When reopened, the engagement becomes read-only, and email notifications (like weekly or daily summaries) will no longer be sent.
Reopening a previously completed engagement:
- Allows users to revisit the requests, comments, and files.
- Download activity, history, all documents, and request lists.
- Enables a Firm User to duplicate or roll forward a request list.
To re-open a previously completed follow these steps:
- Navigate to View All Engagements
- Search for and select the engagement you want to reopen, click the Edit (pencil) icon to bring up the Edit Engagement pane:
- Change the status from Complete to Reopened.
- If needed, remove any existing users, especially Client Users if the engagement is reopened for internal review.
- Save and Close
