This article applies to: All Firm Users
If a Firm User has set up an engagement and sees it in their Dashboard, but the Client User doesn’t, there are a few common reasons why the engagement might not be visible to the Client User.
Client User has not been added to that Engagement
For Client Users to access an engagement, they need to be added to it. To learn how to add Client Users, please refer to the article Add Users to an Engagement.
The Engagement does not contain any requests
Engagements with no requests won’t appear on the Client User’s Engagement List. To add requests to an engagement, please refer to the article Adding Requests to an Engagement.
The Engagements in a Draft State
If the engagement is in the Draft state, only Firm Users will see it in their Dashboard and Engagement Lists. This allows Firm Users to set up the engagement, add requests, and assign tasks without notifying the Client User.
When the Firm User is ready for the Client User to view the engagement, they can change the engagement from Draft to In Progress by following the instructions: Edit Engagement Details.
