This article applies to: All Firm Users
When setting up an engagement, you might find that you (the firm professional) can see the engagement on your Dashboard, but your client might not be able to.
There are a few reasons that a client may not have visibility of an engagement on their Dashboard:
The client has not been added to that engagement.
Client users need to be added to engagements in order for them to receive access.
Follow the instructions here to add your client user(s) to the engagement: Add Users to an Engagement
The engagement does not have any requests in it
If an engagement is empty, i.e. it does not have any request items, it will not appear on a clients' engagement list.
To add requests to your engagement, follow the instructions here: Adding Requests to an Engagement
The engagement is in a Draft state
When an engagement is in the Draft state, it will appear on Firm Users' lists and dashboards, but will not be visible to Client users. This allows you to set up engagements, add requests, and assign tasks, without notifying the client until you are ready.
Change the engagement status from Draft to In Progress to give the client access by following the instructions here: Edit Engagement Details
