When you reach the end of an engagement, it is important you don't forget to mark it Complete.
Marking engagements complete:
- removes the engagement from both client and firm users' dashboards;
- restricts access, and;
- stops notifications.
The To Mark Complete Flag is a helpful reminder.
The "To Mark Complete" Flag
In Progress engagements that are substantially complete and do not have recent activity are automatically flagged by the system as To Mark Complete.
Engagements with the following criteria are flagged:
- more than 2 requests in the engagement
- 99% submitted or accepted and no firm or client activity for more than 30 days
- 90% submitted or accepted and no firm or client activity for more than 75 days
- 75% submitted or accepted and no firm or client activity for more than 200 days
Identify Engagements To Mark Complete
- Navigate to the All Engagements view
- Check the "To Mark Complete" filter
- Select an engagement, and
- Click the "Mark Complete" button in the details pane on the right
Completed engagements can be viewed by firm users with sufficient permission, and changed back to In Progress, Reopened, rolled forward (duplicated) or permanently deleted.
