This article applies to: Client Users assigned the File Access role and invited to the Secure File Sharing Portal by their professional services firm.
1. Uploading and Downloading Files
With Secure File Sharing, Client Users can drag and drop to upload and download file(s), as required.
2. Notifications
Client Users will be automatically notified by default when a user from their professional service firm uploads information. Client Users can update their notification settings to be notified when file(s) are downloaded.
3. The Interface
Click Files on the left-hand navigation menu to get to Secure File Sharing.
Don't see Files? Contact your professional services firm to request access.
- Along the left side is a list of the folders you've been given access to.
- The files in a folder are listed in the middle section and can be sorted by Name, Type, Size, and so on by clicking the column headers.
- Selecting an item opens the details pane on the right-hand side. The details pane contains information for the selected folder or file and provides an option to update your notification settings.
- The Client Users with Access section, at the bottom of the right-hand flyout, shows which other Client Users have access to the Company Cabinet. Their notification preferences are also visible, so you'll know who else will be notified when the professional service firm uploads a file.
