Managing Notification Settings
You can customize how and when you receive notifications in AuditDashboard.
To update your notification settings:
- Click on Settings (gear icon) in the top right corner.
- Select your preferences for each notification type below:
Engagement Milestones
By default, users will begin receiving notifications once they are added to an engagement that's In-Progress. Once the engagement is marked Complete or Reopened, users do not receive any further notifications.
Engagement Summaries
By default, Key Engagement Metric Summaries are sent weekly, every Monday morning. Users can also choose to receive these notifications daily, each weekday morning. These summaries provide a snapshot of metrics across your portfolio of engagements whose status is In-Progress.
My Files
(Only available with Secure File Sharing)
Users can choose to receive notifications when files are uploaded and/or downloaded within their My Files folders.
Company Cabinets
(Only available with Secure File Sharing)
Users can enable notifications for specific Company Cabinets and choose to be notified when files are uploaded and/or downloaded.
Notification settings can be customized within each Company Cabinet (My Filing Cabinet → select Company Cabinet → select Notification Settings from the right-hand pane). Users can also manage their Company Cabinet notification preferences from Settings (gear icon).
Note: Firm Users can also manage their notification preferences directly in the Outlook Add-In.
A bell icon appears when your notifications are enabled for the Filing Cabinet.
Instant Request Notifications
When users are assigned to a request and subscribed to one of the instant request notifications, you will receive instant Request Notifications when:
- A comment is added
(default: notifications ON for all Firm Users so you don't miss a comment from your client) - A document is uploaded
(default: notifications OFF for all Firm Users so you don't get inundated with email notifications) - A request is assigned to you
(default: notifications OFF for all Firm Users) - The request status changes
(default: notifications OFF for all Firm Users)
The default settings for the Firm and Client Users are different. For information on Client Users, please refer to Email Notification Settings for Client Users.
Note: If a request is unassigned, it is the same as being assigned to all team members. For example, all Firm Users will receive an Instant Notification when a Client User leaves a comment on an unassigned request. Assigning requests to specific team members populates dashboards, designates ownership, and ensures the correct individuals receive notifications.
Electronic Signatures
