Q: How secure is the data stored in AuditDashboard?
A: At AuditDashboard, we take the security of our users' data very seriously, and we use industry-standard, bank-level security protocols to protect it. Our goal is to ensure the integrity of our users' data and guard against service disruptions.
To provide a better understanding of our security measures, let's take a closer look at the details:
- End to End Secure Data Transmission: AuditDashboard uses 256-bit SSL encryption, the same level of encryption used by banks. This encrypts all user data, files, and information uploaded or entered into AuditDashboard. All files are encrypted in transit and at rest, ensuring their security on our servers. SSL communications are limited to TLS 1.2, further securing the platform.
- Secure Data Storage & Backup: AuditDashboard uses ISO 27001 and SSAE 16 (previously SAS 70 Type II) compliant data centers audited annually for strict physical access protocols. Our users' data is secure and backed up daily to prevent data loss.
- Integrated Security and Threat Detection: AuditDashboard employs cloud-based integrated security and threat detection services and monitors these in real-time.
- User Responsibility: At AuditDashboard, we believe that security is a shared responsibility. While we take great care to ensure the security of our platform, we ask our users to take precautions as well. This includes treating passwords with care, logging out of AuditDashboard when not in use, and keeping workstations locked when unattended. By taking these simple steps, our users can help ensure the security of their data.
