This article contains information that will help you log back into the system if you have forgotten your password or your account has been locked.
You may need to reset your password if:
- You have forgotten your password.
- Your account has been locked due to too many invalid login attempts.
- An administrator has initiated a password reset on your behalf.
If you need to reset your password, click the Forgot Password link on the login page.
Once at the forgot password page, enter your email address and press Submit. If your email address is found in our systems, you will receive an email notification with instructions on what to do next.
Don't see an email? Ensure you've entered your email correctly and check your Spam/Junk Mail folders, if necessary.
Here's an example of a password reset email.
Example of a password reset email
Note: The password reset link in your email will only work for 24 hours after it was issued. If you have not reset your password by the time it has expired, you will need to issue a new password reset email.
Once you have successfully reset your password, you will receive an email confirming the process has been completed. If you received this email but did not initiate a password reset process on your AuditDashboard account, it is very important that you immediately report this by emailing support@auditdashboard.com.
Single Sign-On
There are some scenarios where you will not receive an email with instructions to reset your password. Instead, you may receive emails that state you are using a Single Sign-On (SSO) provider and as such, you do not need to maintain a password with AuditDashboard's systems. Instead, you use your corporate account - through an SSO provider like Google or Microsoft.
In these cases, you may receive an email that looks more like the image below. Note the call to action to "log in here" using Single Sign-On, right above the Click here to Create a New Password.
Example of a password reset email with SSO Sign In Option
To login using your corporate account - through an SSO provider like Google or Microsoft click on the applicable icon. If you are an employee, click Log In on the left. If you are a client or other user, click Microsoft or Google on the right.

- Never share your password with anyone for any reason.
- Passwords should be at least eight characters in length.
- Passwords should be unique and utilize a combination of numbers, symbols, and both upper and lower-case letters.
- Do not reuse passwords across systems.
