Downloading Files in Individual Requests
Click the Download button in the Activity pane on the right. This will download all files attached to the request. You can also click the individual file name in the Activity feed to download a single file.
Alternatively, click the file icon in the paper column of the request line to view a list of available files. From here, you can download individual files or download all files attached to that request as a ZIP file.
Downloading All Files in an Engagement
To download multiple files in an engagement, select one or multiple requests in the engagement. Then, click the Download Request Data icon at the top of the screen.
Don’t see this icon? You may not have sufficient permissions to perform this action.
When downloading, you have the option to download all files or those you haven’t downloaded previously. Files within the ZIP can be organized in the following ways:
- By Request Title: files are saved in folders that are created for each Title in the engagement
- By Request Reference: files are saved in folders that are created for each Reference in the engagement
- By Request Reference, then Title: files are saved in sub-folders organized for each Title, and grouped by Reference
You also have the option to include request activity with comments in the download. Selecting this option adds an Excel file for each request, detailing all activities, comments, and modifications associated with that request.
Note: When selecting the option to "Only download files not yet downloaded" it’s important to know this applies to files downloaded by anyone in your team, not just you. Files will only be downloaded if no one in your group has downloaded them yet.
This is especially useful if your workflow involves downloading files once, then storing them in a shared folder for your team. It helps avoid duplicate downloads and keeps your shared workspace organized.
