When you have finished an engagement, please be sure to mark it Complete as soon as possible. In this article, you can find information on the following:

Why It's Important To Mark Engagements Complete
- Removes the engagement from both the Firm and Client Users dashboards and list of active engagements, ensuring attention is given to active engagements
- Stops all engagement-related notifications for both the Firm and Client User, eliminating unnecessary emails/notifications
- Removes access for General users (most commonly Client Users)
- Moves the engagement into All Engagements, where it is archived along with all documents and comments and can be reopened, duplicated (rolled forward) or deleted
How to Mark Engagement(s) Complete
Method 1: Bulk Mark Engagements Complete
- Navigate to Engagements
- Click View All to see a list of all engagements
- Select the engagement(s) you would like to mark complete
- Click the "Mark Complete" check mark icon at the top

When a confirmation appears, click Mark Complete to confirm
Method 2: Mark an Individual Engagement Complete
- Navigate to Engagements and select an engagement

Click on Edit Engagement (pencil icon)

Change the status to "Complete" using the drop-down menu.
Identify Engagements Ready to be Marked Complete
- Navigate to Engagements
- Use the Filter "To Mark Complete"
The system automatically flags In Progress engagements that are ready “To Mark Complete”
Engagements with the following criteria are flagged:
- At least 2 requests in the engagement
- 99% of requests submitted or accepted with no Firm or Client activity for more than 30 days
- 90% of requests submitted or accepted with no Firm or Client activity for more than 75 days
- Any percentage of requests submitted or accepted with no Firm or Client activity for more than 200 days
- No requests and no Firm or Client activity for 340 days
